This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: PSP X (any version will work) Tube of your choice I used artwork by Suzanne Woolcott. To use this artwork please visit AMI Scrapkit by Kristi: Carousel Dreams Grass of choice Font of your choice I am using: Flag The scrapkit I used was called Carousel Dreams by Kristi. It can be found HEREor HERE Ok let's get started... Open a new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill with white. Open one of the papers of your choice, and minimize, on your canvas with your Selection Tool, rectangle, feather 15, draw a large rectangle in the middle of your canvas, add a new layer and flood fill with the paper you just open or a color of your choice; this is for the sky. Add a new layer, look for your grass tube and apply many times at the down part of your canvas but top to the paper or background sky. Open the tree, resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer move to the left, duplicate and mirror. Open the irongate, resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer, move down just up to the grass, duplicate and mirror, delete the parts that overlap. Decorate with the tree 1. Open and resize the carousel, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer, and move to the center of your tag but at the top of the grass. Post yours flowers to both sides of the tag if you wish. Also open and resize the tubes of your choice or what you want to add to your tag, remember they are having fun. Add shadow of your choice to all the layers. For the name, grab your preset tool set to rectangle and draw a little rectangle at the top of the carrousel, Effect, Distortion Effects, Wave with these settings: Horizontal Displacement, Amplitude 0, Wavelength 1. Vertical displacement, Amplitude 2, Wavelength 40, transparent checked, apply. Write your name with the Flag font and apply the same wave effect. Add your copyright and you are done. |
