This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: PSP X (any version will work) Tube of your choice I used artwork by Suzanne Woolcott. To use this artwork please visit HERE Scrapkit by Kristi, called lilbit Filter: Mura’s Meister Copies Some sparkles of your choice Fonts of your choice: French Script MT The scrapkit I used was called lilbit by Kristi. It can be found HERE or HERE Ok let's get started... Open a new canvas 600 x 600, flood fill with white. Open 3 papers of your choice and minimize, with your preset shape set to ellipse, width 35, just foreground, not background, with a paper of your choice draw a large circle in the middle of your canvas, convert to raster layer, Selection, Float, Defloat, Modify, Expand by 3 add a new layer move down and fill with another layer of your choice. Deselect. With your magic wand select the middle part of one of the shapes, selection Modify, Expand by 3 add a new layer move down all the shapes and fill with a blue color for the sky. Leave your work for a minute. Open another canvas, open the tree and resize, copy and paste into the second canvas as a new layer, leave in the middle of the canvas, Filter, Mura’s Meister Copies, in the drop menu look for Encircle, change the Number to 18 and shift X, shift Y to 78. OK. With your Preset shape set to circle, this time just background and with a green color draw a large circle in the middle of the tree circle, merge those 2 layers, and copy. Back to your main Canvas, select the sky layer here, and paste as a new layer, move the tree with the shape down your sky, please look my tag for references it should be at the down part of the sky, once you are happy how it looks, duplicate this layer, the one with the trees, and rotate, free rotate 5 to the left, duplicate, rotate free rotate 5 to the left, duplicate again, and rotate, free rotate, 5 to the left, you should have 4 layers with the trees. With your magic wand click in one of the shapes, the one below the sky, but the outside parte, go to your tree layers and hit delete for the 4 of them you should have your trees just in the middle of your tag. For the hearts that are around the tag and the buttons, I used also Mira’s Meister Copies, you need to play a little with the settings, to get them where you like because it will depend on how big is your tag. Post also your clouds in the sky and your tube, it should look like is flying add a new layer and put here and there some sparkles, please look my tag for references. Add any other embellishments of your choice, and a soft shadow to all the layers, don’t forget the Copyright and your name. Animation. Close all your trees layers but the first one, Copy Merged, open AS, and paste as a New Animation, back to psp, close your first tree layer, open the second, Copy Merged, go to AS, paste after current frame, continue like this until all the 4 frames are in AS, save as a gift are you are done. |
