This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: PSP X (any version will work) Tube of choice I used artwork by Suzanne Woolcott. To use this artwork please visit HERE Scrapkit of your choice, I am using one that I had created called Birthday at the Zoo Candle Flame - I provided candle in supplies We are just going to use the flame part of this candle which I will tell you how to just get the flame later in the tutorial Font of choice The scrapkit I used was called Heaven Sent by me. It can be found HERE or HERE You can download the candle neededHERE Ok let's get started... Open up a white canvas 600x600 Open up your supplies and resize them to fit your needs. Place your bag of choice in the middle of your canvas. Now I have changed mine up a bit from how I have created it in the kit. To get the effect that I used open up the purple bag and go to image and greyscale the image. After you have done this go back to image and go to increase color depth and chose 16 mil colors. Your bag will now be discolored so now we are going to pick this color #b06f33 and place this in your background fill. Before coloring your bag remove the handles off of your bag by using your rectangle selection tool. To remove them just put the selection tool around the handles and hit delete on your keyboard. Once you have this done go to selections select all selections float on the bag and add a new raster layer. On this layer flood fill with the brown color or color of your choice. Then go to your layer pallette and change the blend mode to overlay. Next change your brown color to your foreground color. Leave your background color Null. Using your elipse preset shape and thickness of the shape at around 25 draw a large circle and place this as your back layer. Using your deformation tool move your circle about half way down on the top edge of your bag. With the deformation tool stretch your circle so each edge of the circle are touching the each end of the bag to make it look like handle. Duplicate this layer and resize this layer to around 70 percent and place this as your top layer. To get the handle effect on your top layer use your rectangle selection tool to remove the part of the circle that is not being used as a handle. Next we are going to add a texture to the handles to do this go to effects and texture. Use the Asphalt and the default setting. Once you have done this for both of your handles then we are going to add a bevel to it. The settings that I have used are below. Bevel shape 2 Width 16 smoothness 75 Depth 15 Ambience -40 Shine 0 Color white Angle 322 intensity 50 elevation 59 Click ok and now you have the handles to your bag. Next open up your confetti of choice, I am using the stars. Place this as your bottom layer and duplicate it and place it on each side of your bag. To colorize the confetti go to selections select all float and add a new layer and with your paint brush paint the confetti with the colors of your choice. After you have done this place this on your bag if desired. To get rid of any excess confetti on the bag go to selections select all float on the bag layer and go to selections invert and click on your confetti layer and hit delete on your keyboard. After you have done this lets decorate the inside of our bag. Open up your frame of choice and rotate this by about 20 to the right. Add your tube of choice to the frame. To do this click on your magic wand tool and click inside of your frame layer and go to selections modify expand by 2 and add your tube layer and place this layer just below your frame layer. To remove any excess tube go to selections invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Add another layer just below your tube layer and fill this with a color or paper of your choice. On this layer I decided to add some confetti as well. Decorate the rest of the inside of the bag with the balloons, flowers and candy. Placing these where you desire. Be sure to add a drop shadow to each layer. Place your other elements of choice on the outside of the bag. Put your saying of choice and name on your tag where you desire. Once you have your tag the way you like merge all visible layers and add a drop shadow of choice. Copy and paste your tag into animation shop as a new animation. Duplicate your tag to make a total of 4 frames. Go to edit and select all frames. Open up your candle and using your cropping tool in as draw a rectangle around the flame part of the candle and go to crop. Now go to edit select all frames and copy and paste this into your tag on each candle or on the candles you desire. Once you have your tag the way you like it save your tag as a gif and you are done. |
