This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: PSP X (any version will work) Tube of your choice I used artwork by I am using the art of Anyama Scrapkit by Cathy: Always and Forever Gold pattern of your choice Some words brushes of your choice Template provided by me Font of your choice I am using: CaslonZo540SwaD The scrapkit I used was called Always and Forever by Cathy. It can be found HERE My template can be downloaded HERE Ok let's get started... Open the template I provided. Image, canvas size 600x600 pixels, apply, select the background layer and fill with white. Open the papers you wish to use for the tag resize and minimize. Select the back layer on your tag, with your magic wand select this layer, add a new layer and fill with a paper of your choice, add a new layer and look for your gold pattern and your words brush and apply some in here. Deselect. Select the front layer with your magic wand, add a new layer and fill with another paper of your choice, do the same with the front 2, look my tag for references to choose the color of the papers if you wish, also fill the gold layer with the gold pattern. Open the tube you wish to used for this tag, resize copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer and move to the center top of the tag. Open the roses and flowers, resize, copy and paste into your canvas one by one, give to each one a rotation of 5 degrees left, and move to the left part of your work. Open the ribbon of your choice, resize, copy and paste as a new layer into your canvas and arrange at the middle of your tag. Add any others embellishments of your choice to your tag, and soft shadow to all the layers. For the little tag where I put the name: grab your preset tool set to rectangle and draw a little rectangle at the middle of your tag, Effect, Distortion Effects, Wave with these settings: Horizontal Displacement, Amplitude 0, Wavelength 1. Vertical displacement, Amplitude 2, Wavelength 40, transparent checked, apply. Write your name and apply the same wave effect, convert to raster layer arrange at the top of the little tag, and Merge down ( the name and the little tag), move where you want it to put, I also draw with the pen tool set to Freehand a thread to hold the little tag like is hanging from the ribbon. Add any others embellishments of your choice. For the main shadow of the card I change to a light color. Add the copyright and save as a png, and you are done. |
