This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: PSP X (any version will work) Tube of your choice Scrapkit called Once Upon a Time by Boomer A pumpkin, I made mine from the preset shape on this SITE Font: Old English The scrapkit I used was called Once Upon a Time by Boomer. It can be found HERE Ok let's get started... Open a canvas 600x600, transparent background, fill it with white. Open one of the frames and resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer, with your magic wand click in the middle of the frame, Modify, Expand by 5, add a new layer, move down and fill with a paper or background of your choice. Deselect. Open the green banner, resize, we are going to use it as our pad, copy and paste into your canvas and move down. Open the leaves and arrange along the pad. Open the castle resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer and move the top left part of the pad. Open the frog, resize copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer arrange it in the pad, open the Unicorn, resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer and post in the same place as the frog, close this layer. Open one of the ballerinas, resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer move to the center of the pad, open one of the princess, must have the same hair color as the ballerina, resize, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer, post in the same place as the ballerina, close the princess layer. Open and resize your pumkin, post into your canvas at the right part of the pad, open and resize the carriage, copy and paste into your canvas and post it where the pumkin is, close the carriage layer. Open and resize the wand, and post into your layer, move to the left down part of the frame. Decorate your frame as you wish. Add a soft shadow to all your layers. Write your name and add your copyright. Animation: Copy merge your tag as it is right now, and paste into AS as a new Animation, back to psp, Rotate the wand 10 degrees right, Open and resize the sparkles, copy and paste into your canvas as a new layer and move then where the wand is, copy merge, go to AS paste after current frame. Back to psp undo 2 times, you must have not sparkles and the wand should be at the original point again, copy merge, and paste in AS after current frame, back to psp, Rotate the wand 10 degrees to the left and paste the sparkles again to the top of the wand, copy merge, go to AS, paste after current frame. Back to psp, undo 2 times again the wand should be at the beginning position move the sparkles a little bit above the wand, copy merge, go to AS, paste after current frame. In psp, move the sparkles where the frog is, copy merge, go to AS paste after current frame. In psp, close the frog layer and the sparkles, and open the unicorn, copy merge, go to AS paste after current frame. Do the same to with the princess and the carriage, don’t forget to move the sparkles every time as they will turn into another thing. When all the frames are done, I ended with 11 frames, change the frame properties to the first frame to 80, from frame 2 to 4, to 8, from frame 5 to 10 to 15 and the last frame to 200. Once you are happy with your animation save as a gif |
